The venue also has 75 television screens, including two projectors. Greater than the sum of its parts, you'll find it difficult to decide if Larry's is a bar with a restaurant or a restaurant with a bar.

You'll also find it difficult deciding what to order from its extensive menu. Pelican Larry's raw bar gets top billing and the center spot on its menu, but the venue can't be pigeonholed as a seafood joint. While Larry's gives its award-winning wings front-page coverage, it also prominently features grilled chicken and burgers, as well as soups, salads, sliders and more than a dozen sandwiches.

Island fare includes Floribbean jerk chicken breast salad, Caribbean ceviche and "konk" fritters and "chowdah. That giant shucking sound you hear might be Florida Gulf Coast oysters on the half shell. Fresh or steamed Middleneck clams and peel-and-eat shrimp round out the raw bar. Larry's designated locals' picks include its grouper Reuben and Philadelphia Freedom cheesesteak.
